Meet Josh Roberts

Hi darlings (and in particular, my darlings who are in LA)...if you don't have plans tonight, allow me to invite you to see my very talented friend from college, Josh Roberts, play at the famous Viper Room.  He was quite the local celeb at OU, and now he's living and pursuing music in Nashville.

8:11-August Highlights

I often get asked, 'Why did you choose 8:11 as the time to take your daily photo?'  The short answer is: it's my birthday, 8/11. (It also just so happened to be a lovely post-work/pre-bed time with plenty of potential for different types of activities). As I mentioned in my previous posts, I had a particularly great birthday month this year, which in turn led to many great things happening at 8:11 pm.  So here are my 8:11 highlights from the best month of the year (Note: please excuse a bit of redundancy with a few of the photos and also my 2 week tardiness in posting... blurghhh). 

8:11-dinner and cocktails with my new coworker (slash neighbor) at rockwell! Cheers.

8:11-pretty views at the Getty w/ @BenjaminFriday, @BeccaLandsberry and @GarrettFBaker. I love LA.

8:11-best birthday party everrr! Celebrating w/ @marygaris, @GarrettFBaker and many more. #happy.

8:11 (on 8/11!)- in SF for my first time ever! Amazing din/drinks w/ @marygaris and@val0rie. :-)

8:11- @bestycoastyy's set was one of my favorites! soo good (even though she was sick).

8:11- so glad I found @NGomez2 (who let me wear her warm hat-it was fuh-reezing in SF)!

8:11-perfect finale to a GREAT wknd w/ @marygaris, a scenic road trip, and a flight delay-margs!

8:11-at Wurstkuche to celebrate the birthday of the beautiful @MassageLizard! :-)

8:11-ready to laugh out loud w/ @kierstenlyons, @MullaneyJr, @BHasemeyer, etc at Sean's comedy show.

Farewell August... I love you. Hello fall! I'm not quite ready for you yet (where did summer go?!), but at least you bring OU football with you, so that's nice.
