8:11 September Highlights

"It started feeling October..." or so says the first line of "Annie Use Your Telescope" by Andrew McMahon (one of my faves songs of his for obvious reasons). (Sidenote - remember when I took a selfie with him in July? He is just the best.). I love October for many reasons, and this song is one of them. Too bad the insane weather currently thinks it's still summer. :-/  I'm counting down for it to ACTUALLY start feeling like October... in the meantime, here are my 11 favorite things I did at 8:11 in September...

8:11- last night of#DallasRestaurantWeek, double date style. 👫👫

8:11-book club at@kelleenofallon's! This month's book: Just Kids by Patti Smith.📚🍷

8:11-our first #FH4Inclusionvolunteer event: spent the evening in this crazy creative adventure land with the sweet kids from Promise House. 💙☺️

8:11- din/movie at the@drafthouse. @sullymovie was fantastic. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @wbpictures!

8:11-first time seeing Jerry Seinfeld! A+ date night. 👌🏻👌🏻

8:11-Alamo @drafthouse had a Girlie Night for Magic Mike XXL, but it was sold out so we made our own girlie night at@jessahlborn's apartment theater room and it was amazing. 

8:11- death cabbbbbb!! 💙

8:11-front rowwww for the@mattwertz show. 🙌🏻💜✨

8:11-date niiiight.#TheHollars was 👍🏻👍🏻. (👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻@trsycamore!!)

8:11- heyyyy @oaktopiafest. excited for a wknd full of amazing food and music and yoga and fun. 🙌🏻
